OUR BACKGROUND
Legacy shaped by experience
Shriram Research Private Limited, formerly known as SEAP, was re established with a renewed identity, governance framework, and research philosophy to address the evolving needs of India’s capital markets.
The Company traces its research lineage to Sanlam Equity Analytics (India) Private Limited, which for over a decade provided research and analytical coverage of Indian listed companies, primarily supporting institutional investment strategies. During this period, research services were rendered exclusively to a Foreign Institutional Investor and therefore did not require registration under the SEBI (Research Analysts) Regulations.
With the expansion of its research activities and in line with regulatory requirements, the entity transitioned into Shriram Research Private Limited and is now registered with SEBI as a Corporate Research Analyst
