2. About Shriram Research Private Limited
Shriram Research Private Limited (“SRPL”) is a SEBI-registered Research Analyst (Research Entity) with Registration Number- INH000023384, providing research services in accordance with the SEBI (Research Analysts) Regulations, 2014, as amended from time to time.

3. Nature of Services Provided
SRPL provides research and analysis services in the form of research reports, research notes, and investment recommendations on securities, based on analysis of publicly available information and other permissible research inputs.

Important Clarification
Research Analyst services are not portfolio management services or investment advisory services. Research outputs are intended only to assist clients in making informed investment decisions and do not constitute any assurance or guarantee of returns or performance.
4. Services Offered
SRPL endeavours to provide the following services in a fair, transparent and non-discriminatory manner:
- Preparation and dissemination of independent research reports and recommendations
- Objective and unbiased analysis of securities
- Disclosure of conflicts of interest and financial interests, wherever applicable
- Sharing of material disclosures, terms and conditions, and regulatory information with clients
- Protection of client data and privacy in accordance with applicable laws
- Where research relates to complex or high-risk products, SRPL shall provide appropriate cautionary disclosures
- Clients are required to keep their contact details, including email address and mobile number(s), updated with the RA at all times
The Most Important Terms and Conditions (MITC) governing research services form an integral part of this Investor Charter.
5. Rights of Investors / Clients
Investors / clients of SRPL have the following rights:
- Right to fair, transparent, ethical and professional treatment
- Right to privacy and confidentiality of personal and business information
- Right to adequate and accurate disclosures as per SEBI regulations
- Right to receive research outputs free from misrepresentation or misleading statements
- Right to proportionate refund of unutilised fees, where paid services are availed, for the unexpired period in case of premature termination of research services, as per the Most Important Terms and Conditions (MITC)
- Right to clear disclosure of conflicts of interest
- Right to be informed about deliverables and service timelines
- Right to grievance redressal in a timely and effective manner
- Right to exit from services as per agreed contractual terms
6. Responsibilities and Expectations from Investors
Do’s
- Deal only with SEBI-registered Research Analysts and verify registration details
- Read research reports, disclosures and risk factors carefully before acting
- Make payments only through authorised banking channels
- Payments may also be made through the Centralized Fee Collection Mechanism (CeFCoM) managed by BSE Limited, where applicable
- Seek clarifications in case of doubts, especially for complex products
- Report any promise of assured or guaranteed returns to SEBI
Don’ts
- Do not provide funds to the Research Analyst for investment or trading purposes
- Do not share trading, demat or banking credentials with anyone
- Do not rely on unsolicited tips, inducements or schemes offering assured returns
7. Conflicts of Interest and Group Company Safeguards
SRPL is committed to maintaining independence and objectivity in its research.
Where research involves group companies, associate entities, or where any actual or potential conflict of interest exists, SRPL shall make appropriate disclosures in accordance with SEBI regulations.
8. Grievance Redressal Mechanism
Step 1: Approach SRPL
Investors / clients may first approach SRPL for resolution of grievances.
Grievance Redressal / Compliance Contact:
Details of the Grievance Redressal Officer including name, email ID, phone number and address are available on the website of SRPL and may be updated from time to time.
SRPL shall endeavour to acknowledge grievances within a reasonable time and resolve complaints within 21 (twenty-one) calendar days from the date of receipt.
Step 2: Escalation to SEBI (SCORES 2.0)
If the grievance is not resolved satisfactorily, investors may lodge a complaint on SEBI SCORES (SEBI Complaints Redress System) at: https://scores.sebi.gov.in
Step 3: Online Dispute Resolution (SMART ODR)
If the investor is still not satisfied with the resolution, the investor may opt for SMART ODR (Online Conciliation and Arbitration) in accordance with SEBI’s prescribed framework.
9. Service Standards and Timelines (Indicative)
- Acknowledgement of grievance: Within reasonable time
- Resolution of grievance: Within 21 days
- Delivery of subscribed research outputs: As per agreed terms and subscription conditions
10. Investor Awareness
Investors are encouraged to:
- Familiarise themselves with SEBI regulations applicable to Research Analysts
- Refer to SEBI’s investor education and awareness material
- Use SCORES and SMART ODR platforms for grievance redressal, where required.
